In December 2023, Youtuber Sean "Jacksepticeye" McLoughlin continued his holiday tradition of holding a livestream fundraiser known as Thankmas, but this time, did so with a twist. For the first time ever, he hosted the annual eight-hour livestream in front of a live audience!
Upgrading the production behind this beloved annual livestream without sacrificing the integrity of the event or the at-home viewer's experience presented a challenge, and we were thrilled for the opportunity to tackle it.
We worked closely with everyone involved in the event to ensure we came prepared to capture every surprise guest, spontaneous skit and magical moment as it occurred, so that those streaming online could experience the event as if they were in the room. By the end of the event, over $6M had been raised for World Central Kitchen, bringing the six-year total for Sean's annual Thankmas fundraisers past the $25M mark.
